Hi Fred,
Again Thanks for the memories you've rekindled over the years. You've
done incredible work and I applaud you with such a degree of collections
you've shared.??
There's so many moments and stories I could share, as I knew Bill and
his wife, Claire, for many years and even sons Charles and Martin to
some degree.
There's so many hours I'd spent with Bill personally and professionally.
In short, the guy was true genius and had a number of facets of
interests including Pyramids, old automobiles, or electronics.
Then-of course, The Circle of Fifths and the mathematical calculations
within music itself and it's actual relationship to seconds in minutes,
minutes in Hours, hours to days, days to months, months to years even
factoring in a leap year somehow. He'd prove this in a workshop by
unfolding a handwritten set of taped together pages of graph
paper-mathematical calculations he'd formulated. If memory is correct I
think it formed about a 3' square of pencil filled 1/4'' squares. The man
was driven!! Had to know the ''why's'' to everything and would take just
about anything apart to figure out the mechanical workings within.
Genius!
At any rate. I won't take to much of your time here. I'm sending a few
photos and credits.
