This is one of the data sheets on which the students record the number of different types of aquatic invertebrates they find in their sample. This one is used to determine the EPT Richness, which is the diversity of three different orders of aquatic insect larvae that tend to be sensitive to pollution - the mayflies, stoneflies, and caddisflies. The EPT Richness score obtained corresponds to a level of human impact ranging from non-impacted to severely impacted.
