Back when I was a youngster I had two big musical influences, the Pike's & the Tidwells. When Fred Pike and Sam Tidwell teamed up as The Kennebec Valley Boys that was my dream team. They came down from Maine to play in CT occasionally and this time they did a show with Jimmy Gaudreau and Friends at the Plainfield Town Hall in 1988.
