I think I took it at the Don Stover Benefit Concert in Somerville, MA (Somerville Theater, 1995).
Nonetheless, 3 guys who were longtime friends and enjoying their brief reunion.

Marc says: Dig the HUGE aviators and the crazed grin; probably because I was
touring with Bill and Jim Rooney, playing mandolin... sometime in the late 80s.

Car is a 1931 Ford Deluxe Roadster converted to a period correct 1950s Hot Rod with a Flathead V8
by a good friend of mine. I had asked Bill a few times if he wanted to drive it and he said no, but a
ride would be fun. On my second or third visit with the car he finally said ok. He drove it a bit
around Woodstock back roads and we ended up at Eric Weissberg's house for a short visit, which
was a surprise for me. The car is fun on its own, but with Bill at the wheel it went to a different
level for me, and is something I will never forget. I got the feeling Bill was having lots of fun
and know I was. I am pretty sure that it was less than a year before he left us.
